Someone gave me the scrapbook of a spinster lady. Little did this person realize that I too had attended McGill and, such a coincidence, I staying in the residence Royal Victoria College my first year there.
This scrapbook reflects Miss Norah’s two years at McGill University, graduating in 1914 and travelling all the way from Victoria by train.
These two years were obviously very important to Miss Norah. I was particularly enamoured with the dance cards and their minute little pencils. Miss Norah had no lack of dance partners and received more than one young man calling to take her for a stroll.
So incredible to me that I very likely walked some 70 years later the same paths that she took .
These are but a few of images of the scrapbook. Enjoy.
