Vince and I had a surprise this morning. While sitting at Saxe Point with our usual coffee/tea and treats, we saw an unusual cruise ship. The only word we could read from the distance was “Tallink”. It’s a little early for cruise ship season.
A Google search revealed confusing information. Tallink is an Estonian ship line offering Baltic Sea cruises between Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Latvia. Resulting in a big “Huh?!”
A different keyword-Google search revealed a news story that a decommissioned Tallink ship has been hired to be temporary housing for construction workers in Kitimat, B.C. That the ship had left Estonia at the end of January and it was due in Kitimat by the end of February. We saw it on its last leg.
